Operator, not consultant.

Chris Steadham brings 30+ years of medical device leadership — spanning product development, manufacturing scale-up, and general management — to every engagement. He advises medical device startups and the private equity, venture capital, and family-office investors who back them on the technical and operational decisions that determine whether a device company succeeds, without competing with the CDMOs his clients rely on.

He doesn't tell clients what a theoretical framework says should happen. He brings the perspective of someone who has had to make these decisions himself, in the U.S. and in Germany, and live with the consequences.

Chris also sits on the Advisory Board of the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and the Mechanical Engineering & Engineering Science (MEES) Industry Advisory Board at UNC Charlotte, where he presents to engineering classes such as Intro to Biomedical Engineering — staying close to both the direction of the industry and how the next generation of device engineers is trained.

Engagements are led personally by Chris Steadham and, where scope requires, supplemented by a vetted network of independent medical device specialists in regulatory, quality, and manufacturing engineering.
